(62nd Eagles player)
Key defender Zoe Wakfer was West Coast's fourth pick in the 2022 AFLW draft, joining her twin sister Lauren at the club.
West Coast career[]
A latecomer to football, Wakfer was visibly surprised by her selection, having been present at the draft to support Lauren. Neither Wakfer sister played during their first season on the list, with Zoe concentrating on development and Lauren rehabbing an ACL injury.
Zoe made her debut early in the 2023 season and quickly settled in the backline, playing six games. She had a breakout 2024, taking on a number of big assignments in defence and finishing sixth in the Club Champion count.
