Preliminary Final (20 September)
Despite a strong start the Royals fell to traditional rivals West Perth by 29 points to bow out of the premiership race. The West Coast contingent was generally quiet, although Corey Adamson picked up 17 possessions and a goal in a decent display and Dylan Main bobbed up for two third-quarter goals that gave the Royals a sniff of victory.
