Originally from the Willetton Blues, Scott Bennett was a skinny midfielder who managed just one senior appearance in his time at West Coast.

West Coast career[]

Picked up late in the 1998 draft, Bennett spent the entire 1999 season at Claremont, the host club at the time, before getting his opportunity early in 2000 against Melbourne.

Bennett finished with 8 touches and 3 tackles, but the Dees won by 10 goals and he was dropped the following week. He played out the season in the WAFL and was delisted at the end of the year.

Post-AFL career[]

After being delisted, Bennett played a further year at East Fremantle before departing the WAFL scene. He bobbed back up in 2006 when he spent a season at Peel Thunder.
