(64th Eagles player)
Victorian speedster Sanne Bakker joined West Coast as an injury replacement signing ahead of the 2024 season.
West Coast career[]
An elite runner, Bakker was a late inclusion in the Oakleigh Chargers squad for 2023. She was announced as an injury replacement signing in April, following the season-ending knee injury suffered by draftee Matilda Sergeant. On being signed, Bakker was described as having the versatility to play inside or use her running ability on the outside.[1]
Bakker played every game in 2024, performing a useful role across half-forward and finishing in the top ten in the Club Champion count, and was rewarded with a two-year contract.
