A draft bolter, Ryan Burrows was West Coast's first selection in the 2018 rookie draft but spent only one year on the club's list.
West Coast career[]
Originally from Roleystone in Perth's hills, Burrows only joined South Fremantle's colts program during the 2017 season and consequently missed selection in the State under-18 side,[1] but caught the eye of recruiters with a series of impressive performances as a high half-forward in the Bulldogs' underage side.
Burrows was unable to break into East Perth's senior side, and was not seen at any level for the last few weeks of the season after reportedly injuring an ankle. He was unsurprisingly delisted at the end of the year.
Post-AFL career[]
Burrows was cleared back to Roleystone for the 2019 season.[2]
