In David Wirrpanda's 150th game, West Coast were reasonably well-held by the lowly Tigers in the first half before putting their foot down in the third quarter. The Eagles eventually ran out comfortable winners, with the scoring shared among most of the squad. Chad Fletcher led the way with 34 possessions and Adam Hunter swung forward to kick a brace.

From the papers[]
The West Australian[]
"In a game destined for the scrap heap rather than the scrap book, Lynch was John Worsfold's dam buster, the man, along with Mark Nicoski, West Coast used to break Richmond's penchant for cluttering the Eagles' forward area.
With a kick like a rodeo bull, Lynch worked up the ground, pumping the ball deep into the 50m six times - more than any other player on the ground.
His combat zone ranged from the wing to the goal square and his appetite for the contest was obvious from the first term when he had a direct hand in his team's first three goals.
His handiwork resulted in goals to Jaymie Graham after some bustling play, to Nicoski with a rehearsed handball on the 50m and to Adam Hunter who accepted a Lynch bomb at the front of the pack on the edge of the square."[1]
