Adelaide spoiled the sendoff for three retiring West Coast stars and consigned the Eagles to their second wooden-spoon in the club's history with a 45 point win. The home side showed grit early and led by as much as 17 points during the third term, but lost their way in the final quarter as the Crows piled on the goals. Luke Shuey had 25 touches and a goal in his final game, while fellow retiree Shannon Hurn had 22 possessions.
