Port Adelaide inflicted the Eagles' fourth straight loss with a big win at a rain-affected Subiaco. The Power had blown the lead out to 51 points early in the second half before West Coast fought back to force a contest, but the premiership fancies steadied in the final term to record a comfortable 38 point win. First-year star Chris Judd kicked three goals to be his side's best. The loss left West Coast a game outside the top eight with one round to play.
