From the papers[]
The Sunday Age[]
"When sure-footed Eagles youngster Fletcher nailed two goals late in the quarter West Coast was just 20 points down at three-quarter-time with the promise of a final quarter with the wind to come.
Not surprisingly, the Eagle resurgence corresponded with a period at the end of the term when King was spelled in a forward pocket, releasing the choker hold he had on them (in) midfield.
The first goal of the last quarter was going to be crucial and Phil Matera got it for West Coast, only for Cameron Mooney to pull one back for the Cats.
The teams then traded goals for 10 minutes before Burns ended the contest, his brilliant banana sending the Cats 22 points clear."[1]
