From the papers[]

Canberra Times[]

"Lewis, one of the Eagles' best, wore the taunts of the Gabba crowd a few times, during the game, particularly when he pushed a flying Peter Worsfold in the back and into the concrete boundary fence in the first quarter.

The Eagles cemented their position in the top five with the 19.17 (131)-10.11 (71) win. They moved from fifth to third and are on track to host a finals game in Perth as part of their premiership defence.

The Bears were never really a show as the Eagles came out ready to play.

A spate of inaccurate goal kicking in the first term kept Brisbane in it until a big third quarter which put the Eagles in the safety zone through a nine-goal lead."[1]
