From the papers[]
The Age[]
"The Eagles led by seven points at half-time but the Swans took control in the third kicking six goals to two.
The stirling work of Fraser Gehrig on a struggling Lockett notwithstanding, the Eagles had run out of options in defence.
The Swans ran tall forwards Mark Bayes and Jason Mooney across the half-forward line to exploit West Coast's lack of size. This, in turn, forced them to move Brett Heady, one of their few dangerous forwards, to half-back.
But the Eagles had run out of fingers to stem the leaks as the Swans midfielders led by Daryn Cresswell continued to feed their forwards."[1]
