2 B.Deledio (RIC)
1 D.Martin (RIC)
West Coast were embarrassed by the bottom-of-the-ladder Richmond, with Tigers spearhead Jack Riewoldt almost beating the Eagles on his own, kicking 10.3 for the match. Riewoldt had 5 goals by quarter time and given both Eric MacKenzie and Will Schofield nightmares. Andrew Embley led West Coast with 30 touches and Matt Priddis had 28 and a goal.

From the papers[]
The West Australian[]
"While Dean Cox's ruck ascendancy gave West Coast the edge in hitouts and clearances, their work rate around the ground and their inability to keep possession of the ball hampered them badly.
Pivotal to the pitiful predicament West Coast found themselves in were horrid turnovers by several of their more experienced players including Andrew Embley, Brett Jones, Matt Priddis, Cox and Matt Rosa.
And on top of that, the tackling pressure by the Eagles was something akin to an army of jelly-limbed dolls.
Although they led the tackling count 41-37 at half-time, too many Richmond players broke through the corridor with too much ease."[1]
The Age[]
"The key forward was helped by the absence of injured Eagles skipper Darren Glass.
He completely outclassed Eric Mackenzie to kick his first four goals, before Will Schofield was shifted on to him and did a better job, although Riewoldt's class still shone out.
He kicked the 10th deep in the final term, after taking a brilliant one-hander against Schofield in the forward pocket to the delight of the Richmond crowd.
First-year midfielder Dustin Martin also had a huge hand in the Tigers' fast start, gathering 14 disposals in the first quarter to ensure Riewoldt had the quick and frequent supply he needed."[2]
