Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) suffered a disappointing second-half fadeout to fall heavily to Kuwarna (Adelaide) at a blustery Adelaide Oval to close out Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round. In a mismatch on paper, the Eagles managed to stick with the home side for most of the first half, but a Kuwarna onslaught late in the third term opened up a big lead as they coasted to an 11-goal win. Jake Waterman kicked three goals before suffering a dislocated shoulder in the final term, and co-captain Liam Duggan had a team-high 23 possessions.
