2 L.Ball (COL)
1 S.Pendlebury (COL)
A disappointing West Coast put up little resistance against an efficient Collingwood side, the Magpies' lead increasing at every change as they coasted to a 52-point win. Veterans Adam Selwood and Matt Priddis were the best of few winners for the Eagles.

From the papers[]
The West Australian[]
"Although Josh Kennedy had signalled a long day for former Fremantle defender Chris Tarrant with a contested mark after just 27 seconds and a beautifully-slotted set shot for goal, Collingwood soon had the game on their terms.
Their most skilled players - Dale Thomas, Scott Pendlebury, Alan Didak and Leon Davis - were running the show and Harry O'Brien was at his bullish best charging out of defence in his important role on Mark LeCras.
The Magpies were also keen to return the ball long into their forward line after midfield turnovers too often disorganised the defence, even though Shannon Hurn and captain Darren Glass were desperate to keep it together.
Collingwood led by 19 points at the first break and when Daniel Kerr kicked his 100th career goal on the back of booming kicks from Hurn and Quinten Lynch, the Eagles trailed by only 13 points."[2]
Herald-Sun[]
"The Pies escaped the ruck smashing most predicted, with Cameron Wood holding his own opposed to twin towers Dean Cox and Nic Naitanui.
The Eagles won the hitouts 56-23, however couldn't capitalise in the clearance stakes.
But Collingwood's resilience was perhaps best highlighted by the fact it was pinned back for much of the second term.
West Coast dominated the run of play for much of the quarter, but with Reid, O'Brien, Tarrant, and a floating Nick Maxwell all on top, the Eagles couldn't find a forward winner."[3]
