From the papers[]
The West Australian[]
"Several times this season the Eagles have been competitive before dropping their bundle and getting smashed, and Saturday's third term was the perfect example.
Although they were down by 32 points at half-time, their competitive was at least tangible as the team's true stars, Dean Cox and Daniel Kerr, gave them enough spark to be in the hunt.
But when Collingwood went on a rampage the Eagles looked lethargic, lacked commitment, failed to get enough numbers around the ball, refused to fill gaping holes in defence and showed poor discipline, highlighted by David Wirrpanda who gifted Tarkyn Lockyer with a 50m penalty and a goal by pushing him to ground after he marked."[1]
