Powerful key forward Peter Mann spent one year on West Coast's list before going on to play for North Melbourne and then Fremantle.
West Coast career[]
Mann was taken by West Coast as a pre-draft selection (along with Claremont teammate Ryan Turnbull) in the 1989 draft after playing in the Tigers' WAFL premiership. However, Mann declined to play for West Coast in 1990, opting to remain at Claremont.[1] At the end of the 1990 season the Eagles traded him to North Melbourne for a top-10 pick that was used on the useful Matt Clape.
North Melbourne and Fremantle career[]
Mann played 39 games in four seasons with the Kangaroos before returning to Perth to team up with his old Claremont coach Gerard Neesham in the inaugural Dockers squad. He played 77 games for Fremantle, leading their goalscoring in 1995 and captaining the side in 1997 and 1998.
