(72nd Eagles player)
Carlton (VFLW) 2023-2024
Victorian utility Octavia Di Donato joined West Coast as an injury replacement ahead of the 2024 season.
West Coast career[]
A Bendigo product, Di Donato went undrafted following her Talent League campaign with the Pioneers and Vic Country and then joined Carlton's VFLW side. She impressed the Blues enough to be made a co-captain for the 2024 VFLW season.
Di Donato was announced as an injury replacement signing in August, with veteran Dana Hooker unavailable due to pregnancy. On being signed, she was described as being renowned for her work ethic, versatility, clean hands and footy IQ.[1]
Di Donato made a dream debut, kicking the game-winning goal against the Bulldogs, and played five games. However, she was delisted at the end of the season.
