(13th Eagles player)
Irish footballer Niamh Kelly joined West Coast ahead of the side's entry into the AFLW in 2020, alongside older sister Grace Kelly.
West Coast career[]
The Kelly sisters played Gaelic football for County Mayo, leading the county to an All-Ireland final. Niamh was appointed Mayo captain in 2019.[1] The pair signed with West Coast as international rookies in May 2019.[2]
Used mainly on a wing, the younger Kelly sister was a strong performer in the Eagles' first AFLW season, finishing equal eighth in the best and fairest. She improved on that performance in 2021, impressing in the midfield and up forward.
Adelaide career[]
After the Eagles' wooden-spoon winning season in 2022 Kelly, along with her sister Grace, was one of a number of players who sought a trade. She joined Adelaide along with Amber Ward on the final day of the trade period.
