Junior star McKenzie Dowrick played five games after being obtained from Brisbane ahead of the Eagles' entry into the AFLW competition.

Brisbane career[]

Drafted by Brisbane in 2018 after being named an under-18 All-Australian, Dowrick imopressed in her first season in the AFLW, playing every game for the Lions.[1]

West Coast career[]

Dowrick joined West Coast in April 2019 in exchange for pick 13 in the 2019 draft. She played almost every game for the club in its first season, and was used in a variety of positions. Unfortunately, Dowrick had to be placed on the inactive list for the 2021 season due to ongoing complications from a surgical procedure,[2] and was delisted at the end of the season.

Adelaide career[]

Having moved to South Australia and joined Woodville-West Torrens, Dowrick's AFLW career received a lifeline when she was signed by Adelaide as a replacement player for the 2022 season.[3] She played four games for the Crows across the 2022 seasons, but was delisted at the end of 2023 after spending the year on the inactive list, having undergone a knee reconstruction.
