Luke Salomone joined West Coast's standalone reserves side after stints at Claremont and Perth.
West Coast career[]
Salomone graduated from Claremont's colts program in 2012 and played two seasons with the Tigers reserves. He spent 2015 to 2017 playing for amateur side Trinity-Aquinas (coached by Quinten Lynch) and appeared on several occasions for the WAAFL's under-23 representative side in 2016, being judged best on ground by the umpires in a win over Tasmania.[1] Salomone had a short stint with Perth in 2018, playing five league games and five reserves games before rejoining the Boomers in the second half of the year.
Salomone was named as one of the first six signings for West Coast's standalone reserves side, with the club describing him as a versatile forward capable of pushing into midfield.[2] He played two WAFL games during 2019, spending most of the year with Trinity-Aquinas. Salomone crossed to Fremantle CBC for the 2020 season.
