South Australian defender Lucy Boyd was West Coast's third pick in the 2024 draft.
West Coast career[]
Boyd played 29 games for West Adelaide over three seasons while also turning out for South Australia in the under-18 championships. She was picked up by West Coast late in the third round of the draft. On being drafted, Boyd was described as a powerfully built intercept defender with the ability to be swung forward to provide an aerial presence.[1]
