An tiny but exciting small forward, Lewis Broome spent two years on the rookie list but only represented the club in pre-season games.
West Coast career[]
Originally from the remote community of Looma, Lewis Broome attended the Clontarf Academy with Gerrick Weedon and caught recruiters' eyes with a best-afield, 5-goal effort in Claremont's 2009 colts grand final victory.
He spent the 2010 season in Claremont's reserves, before making his league debut in the opening round of 2011. He drifted between the seniors and reserves in 2011, playing in the second-grade's premiership side, before announcing at the end of the season that he was returning to Looma.
Post-AFL career[]
Broome played for Sydney's reserves in the NEAFL in 2012 in an effort to revive his AFL career.[1]
