After spending a year on West Coast's rookie list, Kris Miller went on to become a decorated WAFL player with East Fremantle and South Fremantle.
West Coast career[]
Originally from Kalgoorlie, Kris Miller was picked up late in the rookie draft after a couple of solid seasons at East Fremantle. He was delisted after just one year on the club's list.
Post-AFL career[]
Having started his career as a clever half-forward, Miller became a star midfielder with the Sharks winning the club's best and fairest in 2005 (in a three-way tie with Kasey Green and Andrew McCarrey) after a series of runner-up finishes. He switched to rivals South Fremantle following the 2006 season, and won three best and fairest medals at the Bulldogs (in 2007, 2009 and 2012) as well as playing in their 2009 premiership side. He retired during the 2014 season after his 150th Bulldogs game, having played 153 for Easts.
