Claremont midfielder Kate Orme was West Coast's fourth-round selection in the 2019 AFLW draft.

West Coast career[]

A social media producer at West Coast, Orme only took up football in 2018, but captained Claremont to the 2019 WAFLW finals before being selected by the club in its first AFLW draft. On being drafted, she was described as having pace and a lot of upside.[1] Orme played three games for the Eagles in the club's debut season, and added four more in 2021, kicking her first AFLW goal in a win over Gold Coast. She was delisted at the end of 2021.
