Tall midfielder Jordan Snadden was West Coast's first selection in the 2016 rookie draft.

West Coast career[]

Originally from the successful Bullcreek-Leeming junior club, Snadden was an AIS-AFL Academy member before being drafted. He was described as a quick midfielder who played with aggression and used his speed to break away from stoppages.

Snadden spent the majority of his first season in the WAFL reserves, managing five senior games including the elimination final, before returning to the reserves side for their run to the grand final. He was given a second year on the rookie list.

After starting the 2017 season in the seniors, Snadden was dropped to East Perth's reserves side midseason before finding a role back in the seniors as a tagger. He was released from tagging duties late in the year and performed well. However, he was not offered a third year on the rookie list.

Post-AFL career[]

Snadden returned to East Fremantle for the 2018 season. After four seasons with the Sharks, he crossed to Subiaco in 2022.
