Editing John Worsfold Medal

[[File:Worsfoldmedal.jpg|thumb|Photo: westcoasteagles.com.au]]The Club Champion Award has been given to the best and fairest player every year since the club's inception.  

It was renamed the [[John Worsfold]] Medal in 2013 in honour of the premiership player and coach, who stepped down from the senior coaching position at the end of the 2013 season after 12 years in the role.  Worsfold, who won the medal himself in 1988, captained the side to its first two premierships in 1992 and 1994 and was coach for the third premiership in 2006.  With a 12-year playing career commencing in 1987, Worsfold was involved with West Coast as either a player or coach for 24 of the first 27 years of the club's existence.  [[Matt Priddis]] was the first winner of the renamed medal.  

Defender [[Glen Jakovich]] and midfielder [[Ben Cousins]] have each won the medal four times, with Jakovich winning three straight from 1993 to 1995 and Cousins three straight between 2001 and 2003.  Other multiple winners are [[Darren Glass]] (three times), [[Guy McKenna]], [[Chris Judd]], [[Elliot Yeo]] and [[Luke Shuey]] (twice each).

Two players have won the award twice - premiership captain and coach [[John Worsfold]] and ruckman [[Phil Scott]].
