Hailing from Bunbury, Joe Cormack was a skilled rover who was added to West Coast's squad by his Swan Districts coach John Todd.

West Coast careerEdit

Cormack made his debut a couple of months into the 1988 season and played 7 games all up, averaging 13 touches and a goal a game. He managed just three more games in 1989, all losses, and didn't hit double figure possessions in any of them.

When Todd left, Cormack 'voluntarily withdrew' from the Eagles squad (although he remained on the playing list) and shifted from Swans to Claremont.[1] At the end of the season he was traded to Fitzroy along with David O'Connell.

Fitzroy careerEdit

Cormack played 26 games with Fitzroy in two seasons.
