Decorated WAFLW midfielder Jayme Harken joined West Coast as an injury replacement ahead of the 2024 season.

West Coast career[]

Originally from Northam, Harken took up football as a 22-year-old,[1] playing several seasons at Subiaco before crossing to Claremont. She won back to back Dhara Kerr Medals as the WAFLW's best and fairest in 2023 and 2024, and was best on ground in the Tigers' 2024 grand final win over East Fremantle.

Along with fellow veteran Tess Lyons, Harken was announced as an injury replacement signing in August. On being signed, she was described as a proven contested ball winner with an elite endurance base.[2]
