East Fremantle key forward Jack Williams was West Coast's fourth pick in the 2021 national draft.

West Coast career[]

The Victorian-born Williams, who moved to Perth when he was seven, represented Western Australia at under-19s level and kicked 40 goals for East Fremantle's colts in 2021 before being picked up by West Coast late in the national draft. He made an early-season debut in inauspicious circumstances, alongside Callum Jamieson and a number of contingency list top-ups in the midst of an injury crisis, but had just two disposals. Williams spent the rest of the year in the reserves, kicking 15 goals from 17 games.

Williams' 2023 season seemed over before it started when he suffered a ruptured spleen during pre-season training, but he was able to return midway through the season and work his way into the AFL side, where he played 10 games and showed promise backing up namesake Bailey Williams in the ruck. He stayed in that role throughout most of 2024, playing 18 games and kicking 16 goals, including two bags of three goals.
