(262nd Eagles player)
Tasmanian key forward Hugh Dixon played 10 games after being added to West Coast's rookie list ahead of the 2022 season.
Fremantle career[]
Drafted by Fremantle in 2017, Dixon played just one senior game in three seasons at the Dockers, coming into the team as a late replacement in the final round of the 2019 season. After being delisted at the end of 2020, he remained in Western Australia, suiting up for East Fremantle in the WAFL.
West Coast career[]
With premiership forward Jack Darling out indefinitely due to his failure to comply with a Covid vaccination mandate, Dixon was one of a number of potential signings trialled during the 2022 pre-season, and was officially picked up during the supplementary signing period after a strong showing against his old side in a scratch match. He played ten games during the season, used as a key forward and occasional ruckman, but was delisted at the end of the year.
Post-AFL career[]
Dixon returned to East Fremantle for the 2023 season.[1] After playing in the Sharks' 2023 premiership, Dixon shifted to Queensland to play for Southport.[2]
