(3rd Eagles player)
Midfielder Hayley Bullas played 30 games for West Coast after being one of the first players added to the inaugural AFLW squad.
West Coast career[]
Bullas was named MVP of Essendon's VFLW side in its inaugural season in 2018, and was a Bombers' vice-captain in 2019. On being signed she was described as a contested-ball beast.[1]
Bullas played every game in West Coast's first season, and was the only player to kick multiple goals. She was rewarded with a top-ten finish in the best and fairest. She was quieter in 2021, but was one of just nine players to play every game and recorded more tackles than anyone bar best-and-fairest winner Bella Lewis.
Shifting to more of a forward role in 2022, Bullas kicked three goals in the first season but struggled for impact in the spring season, and was dropped during the middle part of the season.
Sydney career[]
Delisted at the end of 2022, Bullas was signed by Sydney as a delisted free agent. Unfortunately, she missed the entire 2023 season after injuring her ACL, spending the year on the inactive list alongside fellow former Eagle Maddy Collier.
