(288th Eagles player)
Victorian midfielder Harvey Johnston was West Coast's fourth pick in the 2023 national draft.
West Coast career[]
Johnston had a productive carnival for Vic Metro including an eye-catching effort against Western Australia, and was a member of Sandringham's 2023 Coates Talent League premiership. On being drafted, he was described as a neat and creative midfielder or forward with agility and evasiveness.[1]
Starting his WAFL career on a wing, Johnston made his senior debut against Essendon and played two games as a sub before returning to the reserves. Shifting into defence, he returned to play the final four AFL games as a member of the backline.
