(44th Eagles player)
Small defender Emily Bennett was West Coast's fifth pick in the 2021 draft.
West Coast career[]
Having crossed from West Perth to Claremont in order to play WAFLW, Bennett starred in defence for Western Australia at the national under-19 championships. On being drafted, she was described as a consistent defender with natural ability both offensively and defensively.[1]
Bennett made her debut against Richmond, playing three games in her first season. She added another six games during the 2022 spring season.
