An athletic, good-sized outside midfielder, Dylan Main failed to play a game in his two years at the club.
West Coast career[]
Prior to being drafted Main represented WA at under-18 level and impressed in South Fremantle's loss to Claremont in the colts grand final. Drafted with West Coast's final pick in the 2013 national draft, Main shifted from Souths to East Perth under the new host club arrangement. He had an average first year with the Royals, bouncing between the seniors and reserves.
That form continued in 2015, Main spending time in East Perth's reserves and never pushing for AFL selection. After two underwhelming seasons he was delisted.
Post-AFL career[]
Main returned to South Fremantle for the 2016 season. He was appointed Bulldogs' captain in 2018, leading Souths to a grand final appearance in 2019 and a WAFL premiership in 2020.
