West Coast named mid-season draftee Tom McCarthy to make his AFL debut, coming into the side in place of injured defender Tom Cole (hamstring). Potential inclusions Noah Long, Bailey Williams and Clay Hall were also named on the extended bench.

Western Bulldogs thrashed St Kilda.

Friday 13 June[]

Williams and Hall came into the side in place of Brady Hough (ill) and Archer Reid, with Reid and Long joined by Hamish Davis in the emergencies after Hough's withdrawal.

Hawthorn won a tight tussle with Adelaide in Launceston.

Saturday 14 June[]

West Coast's reserves suffered a disappointing loss to Peel Thunder. The Eagles were never in the hunt as Peel dominated in all areas of the game. Jobe Shanahan was his side's best with 20 disposals and eight marks in the backline

GWS Giants upset Brisbane, Geelong demolished Essendon and Fremantle held off North Melbourne.

Sunday 15 June[]

West Coast limped into the bye with yet another loss, going down to Carlton at home on a damp Sunday night. Carlton leapt out of the blocks, racing away to a 39-point lead at the first change and holding a massive 57-point lead during the second term before the Eagles finally clicked into gear, working their way back to end up losing by 34 points. McCarthy made an instant impression with 31 possessions on debut, a new club record, while Williams kicked a career-high three goals.

Port Adelaide defeated Melbourne in the day's other game.

Monday 16 June[]

Tyrell Dewar received the week's Rising Star nomination for his 27-possession, nine-mark game against the Blues.

Harley Reid received a fine for a stray elbow to Carlton's Lachie Fogarty.

Tuesday 17 June[]

West Coast announced that co-captain Oscar Allen had avoided major damage after leaving the Carlton game with a leg concern, with the key forward expected to be out for the "medium term" with damage to his calf and minor damage to his Achilles.
