Wednesday 26 June[]
The club revealed Nicoski's season was over after the unlucky utility suffered a wrist injury in the WAFL. Nicoski had not played AFL since 2011 following a hamstring injury that put him out for all of 2012.
With Nicoski on the long-term injury list, Tunbridge was promoted to the senior list and named to make a surprise debut against Essendon. Smith, Hutchings and Sheppard were all recalled. Hurn (ankle), Scott Selwood (thumb) and Embley (suspension) could not be considered and Wilson was dropped.
Thursday 27 June[]
West Coast fell to Essendon by 7 points after giving up a 23 point lead. The Subiaco crowd was criticised for booing Essendon captain Jobe Watson, who admitted during the week that he had been injected with the anti-obesity drug AOD-9604 as part of the Bombers' controversial supplements program.

Sydney defeated Carlton.
Saturday 29 June[]
Adelaide defeated Gold Coast, Port Adelaide beat Collingwood, Geelong easily defeated Fremantle and Melbourne got their second win of the year by narrowly beating Western Bulldogs.
Sunday 30 June[]
Hawthorn easily accounted for Brisbane, North Melbourne thrashed GWS Giants and Richmond beat St Kilda.
