The Age reported that Eagles fans were unhappy with the fact that the side would be wearing its white clash guernsey for the home game against Richmond, due to the Tigers' own clash jumper being too similar to the Eagles' home strip. The AFL claimed that West Coast had been asked to chose between its royal blue away jumper and the white clash and picked the latter, which was denied by club communications manager Gary Stocks. "No, we didn't have a choice. We aren't happy with the current situation" - Daniel Cherny, The Age: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-guernsey-clash-it-wont-be-all-white-on-the-night-for-disgruntled-eagles-20140724-zwin9.html
