West Coast revealed the guernsey numbers for the club's new recruits, with star signing Tim Kelly taking the number 11 that had remained vacant since the retirement of Matt Priddis. Draftees Ben Johnson and Callum Jamieson took numbers 38 and 40 respectively, while rookies Anthony Treacy and Mitch O'Neill were given 43 and 45.
Meanwhile, the club stated that defender Tom Barrass would miss a chunk of the pre-season after undergoing surgery on his foot. The premiership fullback had a similar problem with his other foot at the start of the 2019 season.
