West Coast scored a stirring comeback win over North Melbourne in Hobart. An amazing late flurry saw West Coast surge into the lead, with Oscar Allen's quick snap putting them ahead with 18 seconds to play and the team able to hold off one last-ditch North push. Allen overcame a quiet first half to finish with five goals, while All-Australian hopeful Jeremy McGovern had a team-high 25 disposals and was a brick wall in defence.
West Coast's reserves were thumped by East Perth, going goalless in the second term as the Royals stormed to a 67-point win.
