Former basketballer Demi Liddle joined West Coast's squad as an injury replacement player ahead of the 2021 AFLW season.

West Coast career[]

Originally from Busselton, Liddle played in Peel's 2020 WAFLW premiership alongside inaugural Eagles squad members Kate Bartlett and Cassie Davidson. She was announced as a signing ahead of the 2021 season, as a replacement for the injured Ashton Hill. On her signing, she was described as a natural athlete with the ability to shut down tall and small forwards.[1]

Liddle made her AFLW debut in the opening round of 2021, playing four games for the season, but was not retained at the end of the year.
