West Coast Eagles Wiki

Former Claremont player Dalton Gooding spent five years as chairman of West Coast, including the 2006 premiership year.

Playing career[]

Originally from Dumbleyung in the Wheatbelt, Gooding played at Claremont for nine seasons.

Board career[]

By trade an accountant specialising in business advisory and corporate finance, Gooding joined the West Coast board in 1998, and was appointed chairman in 2002. He was at the helm for the 2006 premiership, but also for the massive implosion of 2007 when the club faced an AFL investigation into a perceived drug culture.
