Defender Cassie Davidson was obtained from Fremantle ahead of the Eagles' entry into the AFLW competition.

Fremantle career[]

Drafted by Fremantle in 2016, Davidson was part of the Dockers' inaugural side. She played 14 games in three years with Fremantle.[1]

West Coast career[]

Davidson joined West Coast in April 2019, on the last day of the AFLW trade period, in exchange for pick 86 in the 2019 draft. She played the final three games of the 2020 season, but was delisted at the end of the year.

Post-AFLW career[]

Davidson played in Peel's 2020 WAFLW premiership, and followed that up by captaining the side to the 2021 flag, winning the Thunder's best and fairest in the process.
