Carrara Stadium (also known as Metricon Stadium for sponsorship reasons) is located at Carrara on the Gold Coast. It has been the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns since their entry into the competition in 2011. Previously it was the home ground of the Brisbane Bears between 1987 and 1992, and hosted a handful of home games for Melbourne-based clubs, primarily North Melbourne, between 2007 and 2009. It also hosted a large number of games between non-Queensland sides during the pandemic-affected 2020 season.
