(269th Eagles player)
West Australian ruckman Callum Jamieson was West Coast's first selection in the 2019 draft.
West Coast career[]
Jamieson played in WA's winning NAB under-18 championship side as an overage player in 2019, playing two games for Claremont's reserves late in the year. He was picked by West Coast in the third round, the club having traded away its early picks for midfielder Tim Kelly. With no reserves football possible during the 2020 season, Jamieson spent the year unable to play at any level greater than inter-squad scrimmages. That was rectified in 2021 with Jamieson spending his second season developing at WAFL level, including a stint as a key defender.
In the midst of an unprecedented unavailability crisis, Jamieson made his AFL debut early in 2022 as a fullback. He struggled in that role, but was more impressive as a ruckman in a string of games mid-season before succumbing to a groin injury late in the year. He made only four appearances in 2023, with Bailey Williams cementing himself as the leading ruckman and Jamieson having limited effect in four games as his backup.
