Busy midfielder Callan England did not make a senior appearance after being West Coast's final selection in the 2018 rookie draft.
West Coast career[]
The lightly-built England averaged 21 possessions for WA during the Under-18 championships and impressed with Claremont's colts side before being picked up by the Eagles late in the rookie draft.[1]
In his first season, England played a handful of games in East Perth's senior side but spent the majority of the season in the reserves, including the Royals' unsuccessful run to the grand final. He was not given a second year on the rookie list.
Post-AFL career[]
England returned to Claremont for the 2019 season. He played his 100th WAFL game for Claremont during 2024, a season in which he was a co-winner of the Sandover Medal.
