Former North Melbourne tagger Brady Rawlings was appointed as an assistant coach of West Coast ahead of the 2014 season.

Playing career[]

Originally from Devonport in Tasmania, Rawlings was picked up by North Melbourne in the first round of the 1998 national draft. He spent 13 seasons with the Kangaroos, playing 245 games and winning the club's best and fairest three times (in 2004, 2006 and 2010). His older brother Jade played for Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs before joining Brady at North for a season in 2006. Jade would later go on to be Richmond's caretaker coach for the second half of 2009, during which time he coached a match against his younger brother.

Coaching and list management career[]

After retiring at the end of 2011, Brady Rawlings spent two years on North Melbourne's coaching staff. He moved to West Coast with former teammate Adam Simpson ahead of the 2014 season, taking on a role as assistant coach in charge of the midfield. After three years in the position, he shifted from coaching to the role of list manager.[1] Rawlings spent three years as list manager before being enticed back to North Melbourne as the Kangaroos' general manager of football during the 2019 season.[2]
