(263rd Eagles player)
Peel Thunder utility Brady Hough was West Coast's second pick in the 2021 national draft.
West Coast career[]
A Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault junior, Hough (pronounced "Hoff") won Peel's colts best and fairest and represented Western Australia in under-19s in 2021. His debut season form was a bright spot in a dark year for the club, with Hough playing 15 games in the backline and on a wing, and winning the Emerging Talent award. He continued in that vein in 2023, playing another 15 games and doing some important shutdown roles on dangerous small forwards. That became Hough's specialty in 2024, as the Peel product played every game and was unlucky to be overlooked by All-Australian selectors. He did however finish in the top five of the Best and Fairest, and was also awarded the new Best Defensive Player award.
