A tall midfielder/half forward from Victoria, Ashley Arrowsmith spent time at two WAFL clubs without ever really pressing for a debut.
West Coast career[]
Ashley Arrowsmith won a TAC Cup Medal as best afield in the TAC Cup grand final in 2007, but slipped through to the rookie draft amid concerns over his kicking.
He was originally allocated to East Fremantle, but switched to Peel Thunder during his first season after struggling to break into the Sharks' seniors.
After two fairly unremarkable WAFL seasons, he was delisted by West Coast and returned to Victoria.
Post-AFL career[]
Arrowsmith spent two seasons playing in the VFL with Carlton's reserves side, Northern Bullants, before moving to Essendon District club Strathmore. He rejoined his junior club East Keilor in 2017, taking on a co-coaching role and winning the club's best and fairest in his first season.
