Anton Hamp was a tallish forward not quite tall enough for a key position, who spent two years on West Coast's rookie list.
West Coast career[]
After being picked up by West Coast in the 2011 rookie draft, Hamp spent the next two seasons battling for senior selection in a very strong Claremont outfit, and losing that battle more often than not. On the positive side he did play in back to back reserves premierships in that time. On the negative side, playing WAFL reserves did not aid his quest for an upgrade from the rookie list, and he was delisted at the end of 2012.
Post-AFL career[]
After leaving the AFL system Hamp finally established himself in Claremont's league side, kicking 34 goals from 20 games in 2013. He brought up his 100th senior appearance for the Tigers in 2017.
