Powerful ruck Alicia Janz was signed from Fremantle ahead of the Eagles' entry into the AFLW competition.

Fremantle career[]

Initially recruited by Fremantle as an injury replacement player during the 2017 season, Janz played 14 games for the Dockers in three seasons.[1]

West Coast career[]

Janz joined West Coast in April 2019, during the AFLW's free agency period. She was named in the leadership squad under inaugural skipper Emma Swanson, but suffered a knee injury that ruled her out of the 2020 season.[2] She finally made her club debut early in the 2021 season, playing six games as a backup to lead ruck Parris Laurie, but was delisted at the end of the year.
